Hello,
a bit about me:

My name is Jennifer Villanueva. I am currently a Senior studying Social Work with a minor in Communications at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. I was born and raised in Chicago, IL in a neighborhood known as Pilsen. Pilsen is known to be a Latinx community filled with working class families but filled with so much culture, history, and traditions. My community and family motivates me to do what I do. My family has worked hard to help me get to where I am at today, without their love and support I won’t be able to have the experiences I have of being a student. My passion is to help others and communities of low income and working class backgrounds that want to help their families prosper. I have the drive and motivation to make change in the world and be part of that change.
